Southern Fried Agrosuper® Chicken Breast Sandwich

Makes: 4 sandwiches
Prep time: 30 minutes + marinade (at least 4 hours or up to overnight)
Cook time: 20 minutes
4 Agrosuper® 6 oz boneless skinless chicken breast fillets
½ cup buttermilk
1 cup of flour
1 ½ inches canola oil for frying
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
Pepper to taste
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp hot sauce
Soft toasted bun
Add as much as you’d like:
- Add chicken breasts, buttermilk, hot sauce and 1 tsp kosher salt to a resealable bag.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
- Heat 1 ½ inches of canola oil in a dutch oven or large pot to 350 degrees.
- In a wide bowl, combine flour, remaining salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and
- canola oil.
- Remove chicken breasts from buttermilk marinade. Dip each piece in the flour mixture until well
- Fry two pieces of chicken at the same time (around 4 minutes per side) until golden brown and
- cooked through.
- Remove chicken from oil and rest on paper towels to cool.
- Make sauce by combining all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Sandwich assembly: Spread the open side of soft toasted buns with sauce. Top bottom bun with lettuce, chicken breast, tomato, pickles, avocado, and spicy mayo.
