Cook time: 3-4 hours

Ingredients

3 cups Food Service Systems Garden Fresh Frozen Spinach

2 cups Gossner shredded swiss cheese

2, 8 oz. bars of Smithfield cream cheese

2½ cups Chopped artichoke hearts 

1½ cups Harvest Value Extra heavy mayonnaise

1 cup Del Pasado diced green chile peppers

1 tbsp. Monarch granulated garlic

1 tbsp. Monarch onion powder

1 tsp. each Monarch salt and pepper

1 tsp. Asian Classics soy sauce

1 cup Messana grated parmesan cheese

1 dash Monarch paprika (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Thaw and 'squeeze dry' frozen spinach. Drain artichoke hearts and green chile peppers. 
  2. Fill a 6-quart slow cooker with all ingredients except Swiss and Parmesan cheeses. Stir together and heat on low for 3-4 hours.
  3. When ready to serve, turn the heat to high for 1 hour. At this time, gently fold in Swiss cheese until mixed thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle over all the grated Parmesan cheese. Top with paprika according to preference.
  5. Dip can be enjoyed from the slow cooker or divided evenly into ramekins.
  6. Serve warm with fresh vegetables, toast squares, or crackers.
