Every country in the world has its version of dumplings. To put it simply, dumplings are pockets of dough filled with delicious sweet or savory ingredients that are boiled or pan fried. Poland has pierogies, India has modak, South America has empanadas, and Eastern Europe has knish. 

Potstickers, a pan fried dumpling, originated in China between 960 and 1280 A.D. and how they came about is a mystery. Regardless, we’re all very glad they’re here! Take a bite out of history with this yummy recipe and pair a little down home flavor with a Chinese delicacy. These pan fried Gourmet Pork Potstickers are topped with tangy BBQ sauce and served over red bell pepper coleslaw.

6 ea Gourmet Golden Tiger Pork Potstickers (#03149), Pan-Seared According to Package Directions

¾ Cup Coleslaw Mix

¼ Cup Red Bell Pepper, Julienned

¼ Cup Coleslaw Dressing

½ Cup BBQ Sauce

Cooking Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, mix together the coleslaw mix, red bell pepper and coleslaw dressing until evenly combined to make the red bell pepper coleslaw.
  • Place the red bell pepper coleslaw on a serving dish and top with the Gourmet Pork Potstickers.
  • Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the top of the Gourmet Pork Potstickers.
